A Note From Judith Estrine, Executive & Artistic Director
Hi everyone –
It is with great delight that I report being afflicted with an incurable case of early onset optimism.
Vaccinated, I watch the sun go down later each day. On schedule, Spring appears. Heartened by the inexorable repetition of the seasons, I feel a senseless and silly joy in simply being alive, with a fool’s faith that right-minded people will keep fighting the good fight; that we will continue to worry and complain; to grieve but find reasons to celebrate. We will keep creating.
In some primal, unfathomable way I have faith we will prevail. Welcome to Prism Stage Company, Spring 2021.
Continuing this hopeful spirit, Prism is pleased to present, via Zoom, THE BEAR, a short, humorous piece by Russian playwright Anton Chekhov (1860-1905). It will be performed live by three lifetime members of the Actors Studio, Corinne Chateau, Kip Gilman, and Bryan Hickey (who is also directing.)

THE BEAR will be Zoomed on Monday, March 29 at 7:00. You can click here (or on any button or image in this message) to register.

Finally, I am very pleased to welcome a new addition to Prism, Artistic Associate, Kyle Andrews. Kyle is a recent graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of Theatre and is a developing talent in directing, filmmaking, and video editing. We all look forward to working, learning, and growing together.
Please stay safely masked. And stay tuned for information about April!
